Stuff like this is ongoing so to expect that it will stay like this forever is foolish.. but the chair is fixed.
Sue was sort of leaning toward taking it up to Turlock to the repair guys.. it may still need to have the brake repaired..but the handle works and the hex nut is secure under the handle so that it won't move.
The first thing that I had to do was to remove a half a roll of tape that we used to get it through the cruise. By the way, that is a pretty handy thing to bring along.. a roll of electrical vinyl tape. It can me used for all sorts of things and the request for it at the desk with the American English learners could be problematic. So pack some on your next cruise!
It would also be good to pack a phillips head screwdriver in the bag for other kinds of emergencies.

It seems like a weekend for fixing problems... Rez had to replace the power supply in the big screen t.v.... but now we are back to movie status. We are soooooo spoiled! I have a game where you use elements to put together a story, which you tell to the group (Nanofictionary). One of the "Solutions" or ending cards says, "Duct Tape Saved the Day Again". :::grin::::
