I was leaving the school parking lot this afternoon. I colleague pointed out that I had a flat tire. Sure enough, staring me in the eye was a tin colored square headed screw was embedded into my front right tire of my 1999 Ford Expedition.
I called AAA and in 30 minutes the tow truck driver arrived and changed the tire with my spare from under the truck and confirmed that I was "screwed."
I drove the truck down to Costco. They reversed the process of the spare and the tire and repaired the tire for free withing another hour. I guess I was unscrewed at that point.
So much for the after school time. Hot dog and pizza from Costco for dinner. I also picked up a 40 dollar DVD player for my classroom. And treasury of Love a three disc CD collection from Time Life.
