The Gospel of Saint Thomas (which I often quote) states: "everything you bring forth will save you….everything you do not bring forth will destroy you."
The essence of the current term called transparency. School districts have come to the conclusion that it is easier to bring forth rather than hide. After all its the school board's decision anyway.
I met our HR person in the grocery last night. She almost didn't want to say hello. She did and I asked her about her tough week. (The week of massive non election of new teachers). She said that it had taken its toll. I said that I felt for her. She said that there there was an article about the HR folks in companies that were having to do what she was doing. They are going to need some Post traumatic help. She said that she could relate to them. I told her that I would keep her in may thoughts. She said that she appreciated that.
So goes the life of what dad would call the hatchet man.
