I picked up the mail this morning (from yesterday at the house), In the mailbox was an Ebay purchase I had made some time ago. It finally came. Its a 3 volume DVD set. Rowan Atkinson is Mr. Bean.
This guy is absolutely the Charlie Chaplin of the modern world. Not much dialog.. just visual humor. What I like about him is the you really don't feel sorry for him like you do Jerry Lewis when he does his visual humor. Mr. Bean seems to go crookedly through the world and still succeed. I think that this is what Reza likes about Monk.
I watched the first part this morning. One part was about test taking. He studied Trig and the test was Calculus. So he needs to cheat from his neighbor. At the end it appears that he could have taken the trig test instead. The second one was about disrobing at the beach..He put his suit on over his pants and then took his pants off under it so that he wouldn't have to reveal in front of a sunbather. In reality at the end we find out the sunbather is blind.
