A year of Sunrises

Sunrise hold such promise.

This time of the year it is really cool. Today the wind was not blowing and no coat was needed.

We are slowly getting up to Summer temperatures. Yesterday was pretty windy and overcast in the morning. Today it bright and sunny.

When the overnight temperatures are above 50 degrees the tomato plants grow instead of shiver. Dad says that he has some fine tomato plants growing. He plants them deep and allows for the first roots to be helped by some horizontal growth of the first leaf on the stalk area. They grow into roots instead of leaves.

Lots of pomegranate blossoms this year. I hope we have enough to stay on the shrub to produce fine fruit by this fall.

Have a great Tuesday!

Pat
